• Learning to swim can be a great experience and a valuable skill to have. There are
  • several techniques for regaining your feet when you are in the front or back position
  • in the water. Here are some steps you can follow to regain your feet:
  • Front position:
  • Float on your back and relax.
  • Put your arms out in front of you and kick your legs.
  • As your body moves forward, start to bend your knees and bring your feet
toward the surface of the water.
  • When your feet touch the bottom, push off the floor and stand up straight.
    Back position:
  • Start by floating on your stomach.
  • Reach your arms out in front of you and kick your legs.
  • As you move forward, bend your knees and bring your feet under you.
  • When your feet touch the bottom, push off the floor and stand up straight.
Remember to always swim in a safe and supervised area, and practice these
techniques with a swim instructor or partner until you feel confident in the water.
